TRANSIT FLY Review: Shanghai Pudong International Airport without a doubt has one of the most amazing experiences in airport transit that the World has to offer. Shanghai International Airport is home to the Shanghai Maglev Train, a high-speed rail line that can go from Shanghai Airport to the Longyang Road Station (30km away) in only 7 minutes. At its peak speed of over 430+ km/hour the Maglev flies through suburban Shanghai on the way to the Pudong area. From the Longyang Road Station passengers of the Shanghai Maglev can transfer directly to the Shanghai subway system in the neighboring building or take a taxi (many always available) across river "the Bund" to Central Shanghai for around RMB 14-30. |
