TRANSIT FLY Review: The frequency and quality of public transit at Portland International Airport might just make PDX the easiest airport in the country (for an airport its size) to get to from the neighboring Downtown area. With MAX Light Rail "RED LINE" Trains pulling up directly at the Southern end of the Portland International Airport Terminal building, transit to airport couldn't be much easier. MAX trains provide service to destinations throughout the Portland metropolitan area for a mere $2.05 and make the trip from Downtown Portland in to the Airport Train Station in around 30-35 minutes.
