TRANSIT FLY Review: Las Vegas McCarran International Airport offers airport passengers convenient access to airport transportation. One of our favorites here at TransitFly.com is the direct connection from the McCarran baggage claim level to a variety of well priced Airport Shuttles. Airport Shuttles provide convenient and frequent service to all of the Las Vegas Strip & Downtown Hotels. Wait times for departures are typically never more than 5-10 minutes and the fares charged are less than half that of a typical taxi. For passengers traveling to UNLV or the Thomas & Mack center look into the CAT Bus #108 for service every 20 minutes during most of the day for only $1.25. |

A planned extention of the Las Vegas Monorail to McCarran International Airport was approved by Harrison County (Las Vegas) voters in 2006. No timeline for the expansion has currently been announced. Bus Route #109 & The "Duece" Double-Decker Bus- Take the Southbound #109 Bus from McCarran Airport to SSTT (South Strip Transit Terminal) and transfer to the new "Duece" (Double Decker) Sightseeing buses ($2 add'l fare) which serves all the Las Vegas Strip Hotels and Downtown Las Vegas. A great way to see the Las Vegas Strip and make it to your hotel all in one. The #109 Bus departs Las Vegas McCarran Airport every 30 minutes.
