www.flydenver.com

Distance to Downtown:
13.2 miles (21.3 km)

Annual Passenger Volume:
47.33 million (2006)

TRANSIT FLY Review: Denver International Airport (known as "DIA") not only
ranks as the 5th largest North American airport in terms of passenger volume
(2006), but is also the major airport serving the entire "Rocky Mountain" region.
While Denver International Airport is not served by any airport train services,
there are a variety of good and frequent shuttle and bus services that offers
access to the Denver metropolitan area and many surrounding communities.
One of our favorite transit options offered at DIA is the RTD SkyRide Express
Buses that provide direct service from the airport to a variety of area including
Downtown Denver for a very reasonable $7-11 (one-way).
